What's the difference between the free version and a license?
The free version reads folder-format comics. A license is a one-time purchase that permanently unlocks archive formats (CBZ, ZIP, RAR, PDF) and all premium features, with priority technical support.
macOS says "developer cannot be verified" or "the app is damaged" — what do I do?
This is macOS protecting you from unsigned apps. Click "Cancel", go to "Settings → Privacy & Security" and click "Open Anyway". If the option is missing, run sudo xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/KomiPan.app in Terminal, then relaunch.
Which comic formats does KomiPan support?
CBZ, ZIP, RAR, PDF and other mainstream formats. Encrypted archives are managed by the built-in password library — no repeated typing.
How do I move comics from my computer to my phone or tablet?
Use the built-in WiFi transfer: open the transfer page on the same network, then scan the QR code or visit the address to move comics between devices.
